From one city to a movement
How Rutur grew from a small team in Hyderabad into a platform trusted by millions.
Founded in Hyderabad
Rutur launched with a single city and a simple belief: people deserve a safer, more transparent way to get around.
First 100,000 rides
Within six months of launch, Rutur had completed 100,000 rides in Hyderabad — faster than any competitor at the same stage.
Expanded to 10 cities
We brought Rutur to Bengaluru, Pune, Chennai and seven more cities, growing the driver network to 50,000 partners.
Launched SOS response team
Built a dedicated 24/7 safety response team — a first for ride-hailing in Tier 2 cities in India.
Reached 40+ cities
Surpassed 40 cities, 250,000 driver partners and 10 million completed rides — while maintaining a 4.8-star average rating.
Expanding deeper
Now focused on going deeper into Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, improving driver earnings, and building the next generation of safety features.

We don't treat safety as a feature that ships in v2. It's the baseline. No trip goes live without it, no driver without verification, no shortcut acceptable.
